I made this cake on a whim because my boyfriend asked me for a chocolate cake. I didn't have any buttercream frosting left, but I did have a buttercream box mix. The instructions did not work lol I ended up with sugar soup. I mixed in some stiff buttercream frosting and then threw it in the freezer for a bit and ended up with this droopy consistency. The frosting was very, very sweet (but yummy) and the galaxy design I went for kind of masked the buttercream fail pretty well. The top pieces are melting chocolate.
