Taylor Swift Reputation tour, Gillette night 2

Updated: Sep 29, 2019

This was my 4th Taylor Swift concert, second at Gillette and first with a group of friends. It was so much fun! I took a lot of time building up to the concert working on our epic 5-person reversible sign! Here's a gif of it:

It got glitter on the floor. All the floors. My apartment is still covered. Leading up to the concert we planned out our costumes as well! Here's a representation of the Taylor looks that inspired us and our end result costumes for the day! Sara put this image together (LWYMMD costume):

I had really sparkly tights like the ones Taylor wore on the RED tour. I seriously fell in love with them the first time I saw her wear them. They were impossible to find anywhere but special boutiques or for under $100. I was so happy to find a pair on amazon for less than $10! I got them last December and wore them on the New Year!

Can we also talk about how spot on my shoes are to the ones Taylor wore on the RED tour? Amazon is an amazing thing.

Finding a top wasn't easy. I wanted a white lace body suit, because I think that represents her look the best. The one I ordered off of amazon was really short. I have a long torso, so it was not even able to snap. I bought another shirt at the mall that was a beautiful lace, long sleeve white shirt with a tie looking thing going down the middle like the one Taylor wore BUT I ended up going with the body suit I got from amazon. It was not comfortable since it was so short it wouldn't snap, and it kept coming up at the sides anytime I would move.

We left at 10am that day. GPS said it should have taken 1.5 hours, it took closer to 2.5 because there was construction everywhere. Plus we're a car of girls, we had to stop to pee a lot :)

We left early so we could spend an entire day together and really immerse ourselves in this Swifty holiday. Gillette Stadium is surrounded by this outside dining and shopping center called Patriot's Place so we hung out there for a couple hours before getting ready to go to the stadium to wait in line. We went to a place for lunch that had bowling lanes in it.

Another reason we went early is because we wanted to participate in all of the Taylor Nation booths. We didn't find any of them. We walked around before the show to try and fine them. We asked some of the people that worked there about them and they said they didn't think they were there. So one of my friends said that maybe these were only things for Rep Room. So we stopped looking. I found out afterwards that people did find the booths, they were not Rep Room exclusive. Super sad about that because I really wanted to sit in the snake throne and take those polaroids. I wish that Taylor Nation would have put up signs :( We sat in the same part of the field as I had when I went to her RED tour there. It felt a lot closer than my memories. We could pretty much see her constantly on the stage and we were not in any of the sections immediately next to the stage. We were 4 rows back from the people that were seated next to the sections at the gate where Taylor Swift runs through the crowd from one B stage to another. Morgan (Fearless costume) got a video of the view of her from our seats:

I want to go to her next tour more than one night while she visits Gillette. It would be a blast to go and stay in a hotel overnight and go two nights in a row! I put together a video of the day:

Here's an album of our day!
