Cinnamon Bun Cake

A cinnamon bun...but make it a cake and pink!

I was watching my current favorite TV show and the idea for this baking endeavor popped right into my head. I am pretty sure that doing what you love and *actually* enjoying yourself is what helps creativity pop in. Maybe this is what all the gurus are referring to when they say that you need to get into the "flow state".

I was teetering between the thought of making it halloween themed (since it is Halloween season) or a Princess core theme...obviously the Princess core theme won! Haha! I don't like the aesthetics or common color pallet usually associated with Halloween, and I was not going to waste this inspiration on making something that would appeal to others more than myself (a new realization I have come to and am trying to fully embrace). So, a pink cinnamon bun cake it is!
