I wanted to do more than just buy a bouquet of flowers and some chocolates from the grocery store for my Grandma for Mother's Day! Her favorite flavor is chocolate and she loves flowers. This was perfect and it was pretty simple to make! I got a small bucket, a styrofoam ball, cut small plastic cups into 3rds, placed them in place in the styrofoam with toothpicks and then stuck the cupcakes on them! I frosted the cupcakes while they were connected to the bouquet. I added some of the green tissue paper before frosting, and some after. I would recommend doing all of the tissue paper before you do the frosting so that way adding in the tissue paper doesn't mess up any of the frosting work (some of my frosting got pretty messed up when I was trying to add the tissue paper in). The hardest part about the whole project was transporting it from my house to my Grandma's, only because I was so stressed about dropping it or smudging the flowers. I weighed down the little bucket with a packet of chocolate truffles so that the whole bouquet wasn't top heavy. I'll definitely be making these for more occasions!
