Food Review

Went on a double breakfast date on an October morning to a place called Nina's! It's located at 28 North St, Willimantic, CT 06226.Rright in the middle of Willimantic. Instantly when we walked in, the line was to the door and it was still like that when we left. The hype around this place has been huge with all of my friends and I can't believe it took us (my boyfriend and I) this long to go.

I got two items off of their specials menu. They did not disappoint. I got the Fall Harvest Waffle (pumpkin waffle topped with homemade apple sauce, cranberry topping, whipped cream and walnuts) and a black forest with nutella filling crepe to take home. The vibe here is like a Mom and Pop's place, they only accept cash!! I was not only surprised to see that they were packed non stop and people were willing to wait in that line but also they only accept cash. Maybe I'm just super Millennial, but I hate lines and paying with cash. This experience made both of those pet peeves worth it. The food was out of this world and everyone there was really friendly. If you're from the area or ever travel to the area, you need to make a point to stop here!
